To be honest, I don't like the fact that most cars of today look the same because I love stylish cars. In my opinion, every car should have an individual personality. The classic American cars certainly have this unique attributes. Pontiac, Cadillac, Chevrolet and the...
With all three Detroit automakers on the verge of bankruptcy, the American car market needed an injection of innovation - and government assistance - to stay afloat. But with Ford avoiding a bailout, General Motors prepping to go public again and Chrysler now under...
American Car Resource
Truly an American Car and Truck enthusiast? I’m very passionate about my love of American cars and trucks, vintage or not. For far too long I have felt that people like ourselfs, have been ignored and sometimes even worst, be openly ridiculed by critics who know nothing of our American automobiles and trucks.
I fully believe the American car and truck industry is the main industry that this country had developed so greatly. Paying homage to this very fact and all things surrounding it, our country would not have the means to allow us, as a whole to travel freely from coast to coast. This includes movement of supplies and merchandise to flow like no other country. Without this unique development, our America, as we know it, would not be the economic power house of the world. Although this is not thew only reason for the above, it greatly factors into it.
In this website, I want to develop it as a one stop place, for all American cars and trucks and associations of all makes to be represented. It does not matter if the make is defunct or its age. This will include even large trucks such as class 7 and 8 trucks and again don’t care its make, model, age, or if they in business or not. I do not care if the vehicle are from the brass era either. If it is American made, then it is welcomed! However, one big exception is any Chrysler vehicle built later than 1996, because since that year, Chrysler is not an American company anymore, but since then became owned Fiat, an Italian corporation. Any Chrysler vehicle built before 1996 is fully welcomed.
Let’s face it, all vehicles not matter how well made will need some servicing sometime down the line, and of course this means parts. Any and all companies dealing with parts, books, models, manuals and any literature without regard to their size are welcomed to join. this include even mom and pop operations to help keep our American cars and trucks doing business as usual.
I do welcome all American car and truck lovers from everywhere in the world! I want to make this a one stop site for meetings, trading tips, getting information, and finding links for any part, service and finding links for any part or any written, including manuals. Also, but not least, but still very important, “clubs and associations” will be listed to help all members.
In a nut shell, a one stop place to get everything that you need so you will have more time to work on your vehicles, instead of wasting your time searching on the internet. Th those American can and truck buffs,”Blessed Be to you”.
